Religious Tourist Complex located in the historic center of Arequipa.
The convent was built in clay and ashlar with magnificent fresco paintings and is divided into four neighborhoods, trying to emulate the Arequipa urban layout of the first years of the Colony.
In the interiors, the domes and vault roofs considerably expand the space and increase the feeling of strength of the buildings. It is perceived also, especially in the area of the streets, the intervention of bricklayers who, lacking a proper architectural design, were building walls, roofs, cells, patios and covers of the simple approach.
The convent holds splendid pieces of art, such as a baroque altar of carved and gilded wood, a body and three streets, which ornates the chapel, and several paintings of the Cusco school.

Tour of the Colca Canyon

We will start our journey on the way to Yura to enter Pampa Cañahuas, where we will be able to appreciate the vicuña herds and the back of the Chachani, Misti and Picchu Picchu volcanoes, entering the Pagodas where we can appreciate the geological conformations of the area. Then stop at a restaurant for lunch and continue to the wetlands where we will appreciate a large number of birds, both migratory and local, then we will reach the viewpoint of the volcanoes, where you can see the Cordillera del Chila and all the volcanoes in the area, arriving in Chivay.

The Colca Valley (3,650m) is one of the most dramatic and spectacular natural landscapes of Peru.
The Colca River, considered by a recent survey of National Geographic as the source of the Amazon, cuts a sensational scar over the mountains for more than 50 km and is surrounded by a lost paradise of small towns. Their churches remain despite being hit by several earthquakes, and their women still dress in their traditional and voluminous Andean skirts and colorful hats.
In the afternoon we will visit the thermal baths where we will take a refreshing bath in Thermal Waters.

Tour of the Colca Canyon

Trip to Cusco - Sacred Valley

Departure at 06:30 hrs to take us to the airport of the city of Arequipa and take the flight to Cusco at 08:10 hrs 09:30 hrs Reception in the city of Cusco
We will visit the famous temple of Koricancha dedicated to the Sun God and the Cathedral of Cusco that houses magnificent shrines and churrigueresque altars and paintings of the Cuzco school.
Then, the transfer to the Sacred Valley of Urubamba begins.

Visit to Machu Picchu

We will arrive at the Puente Ruinas station in Machu Picchu. Baggage will be delivered to the staff of the Inkaterra or Inkaterra MAPI hotel to continue the trip to Machu Picchu.

Sacred Valley Tour - route to Cusco
Breakfast at the hotel 08:00 hrs pick up by our staff to start the tour, we headed to the Colcas de Cheqoq in the archaeological site of the same name, to understand in context of the archaeological site of Moray, archaeological set of concentric shapes where you can perceive the variations of the characteristics: humidity and temperature of each platform.
Finally, we went to Las Salineras where the inhabitants of the town of Maras conserve the form of communal administration of the salt mines. Former settlers of the lake, known as the Aquatic Tribe, build their own islands by periodically adding new layers of totora, they also use this material to build their houses and boats. We continue sailing to the Island of Taquile, whose inhabitants are dedicated to agriculture, crafts, and fishing mainly.
