








The beautiful city of Cajamarca, located at 2740 AMSL in the eastern slope of the Andes mountain range in the northern mountain range of the country, is considered Historic and Cultural Heritage of the Americas, as well as its wonderful landscapes, was the scene of important historical events. Before the conquest of the Incas, a legendary culture existed in Cajamarca, discovered by the famous archaeologist Julio C. Tello, whose main legacy as culture are more than 90 archaeological sites.
The city is imprinted in the footsteps of the history of Peru. You can see three slopes of different times, it is as if the city will take three in one, the Inca, colonial and contemporary. It's a mixture of times.

Other important attractions are “Baños del Inca”, 6 km from the city, is the capital of the thermal baths of Peru. The “Ventanillas de Otuzco”, just 8km from the city shows one of the most wonderful examples of Peruvian pre-Hispanic necropolis. Several quadrangular funerary niches are carved on the rock wall.
