National and World Heritage

Peru can show its visitors 12 places recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage: eight cultural, two natural and two mixed. Its valuable cultural legacy and biodiversity are a universal value that awakens the admiration of natives and strangers.

There is also a great variety of manifestations such as: dances, music, pilgrimages, textile art, among other traditional expressions of which 6 are part of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage List and a special program.
