


















The city of Iquitos is located in the Loreto Region, which covers more than 30% of the territory of Peru. Through this region crosses the mighty Amazon River, the longest in the world, which unites peoples who inhabit the heart of the jungle.
In Loreto, we can find exotic landscapes such as the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, which houses the pink dolphins, and the Allpahuayo Mishana National Reserve, for the types of endemic birds and soils. Its forests grow on white sand and have a very diverse fauna and flora.
Iquitos is the entrance to the Amazon River. This begins in city of Nauta with the confluence of two different rivers that give life to the longest and mighty river of the world. About 900 species of fish have been identified in its waters, making it the habitat of countless animals, not only those who live in the water, but those who feed on its waters.
